Adult Summer Book Club

This summer we hope you’ll join us in thoughtful contemplation and conversation about Howard Thurman’s book Jesus and the Disinherited. This text, often cited as inspiration for Martin Luther King Jr., explores God’s justice for the poor and oppressed. It encourages us to love ourselves and each other with the hope of seeing God’s Kingdom prevail. You are encouraged to read the book in July and we will meet on August 28th, after worship for a light lunch and a hearty discussion.
