Indemnity Provision

USER agrees to save, indemnify, and keep harmless WELLSHIRE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (WPC) against any and all liability, claims, judgments, or demands, including demands arising from injuries or death of persons (USER'S employees included) and damage to property, arising directly or indirectly out of obligations herein undertaken or out of the operations conducted by USER, save and except claims or litigation arising through the sole negligence or sole willful misconduct of WPC. It is the intention of the parties that the indemnity provided for by this agreement provides for indemnity to the fullest extent provided for by law.

Facility Use Guidelines

Wellshire Facility Use Guidelines
1. Before moving Sanctuary furniture or instruments, groups must get approval from Wellshire’s Director of Music
2. Use of Wellshire’s AV equipment beyond a basic mic for announcements requires pre-arrangement and consultation with Steve Cearley, Onsite Digital Recording scearley@wpcdenver.org.
3. Food and beverages (apart from water) are not permitted in the Sanctuary.
4. Alcohol Policy: No alcohol may be served in church facilities without prior approval. No alcohol may be brought into the Sanctuary.
5. No open flames are permitted at any event.
6. Events, programs and activities are limited to the spaces that are assigned only.
7. Church equipment, such as tables and chairs, must be returned to original placement, unless arranged otherwise prior to the event.
8. Clean-up: Groups are responsible for taking their excess food and beverages away with them and ensuring that trash is put into receptacles.
9. Doors: Group leaders will be given a code to the doors which you may share with your members to enter the building. Narthex/lobby door push bars may be set to the unlocked position using the allen wrenches. All doors must be locked upon departure.
10. All lights must be turned off before exiting the building.
11. The user assumes liability for injuries to persons attending the event and for damages or loss of user’s property. A certificate of comprehensive general liability insurance coverage with a combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 naming the church as an additional insured is required.
I agree to the abide by all Wellshire Facility Use Guidelines unless granted a written exemption by a member of the Wellshire administrative staff.
