Sunday Conversations
Each Sunday during the 10:00 am hour between services, there will be opportunities to grow in faith through learning and fellowship.
Current Offerings:
• Book of James, Room 207 – Join Beverly Granath and Rev. Dick Klaver for an in-depth look at the book of James. This will be a long-term exploration; no homework required, and drop-ins welcome anytime.
•NEW CLASS: Fruit of the Spirit, Room 208 – We explore the fruit of the Spirit. Instead of seeing the fruit as a list of attributes we should display or achieve, we will seek out ways to foster and deepen our relationship with the Holy Spirit, who is already tending to and helping the fruit grow in our lives. Rev. Julia Fenn will lead the conversation and will use Eugenia Anne Gamble’s book Tending the Wild Garden as a guide.
• Parent Book Study, Chapel – Parents of elementary-aged children are invited to gather for conversation and fellowship. This week, Rev. Dr. Kim Clayton will lead the story of Zacchaeus.
• Pixar Parables, The Well – Each week, we watch a Pixar short, read related scripture, and engage in active discussion. Open to all ages 4th grade and up—including adults!
Childcare will be provided in the Green room.
