Rev. Julia Fenn is a 2010 graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where she earned a Masters of Divinity. She served the Hampton Presbyterian Church community until 2015, over-seeing pastoral care and adult education. Her loving family consists of sons Henry (7 years old) and Stuart (4 years old), dog Watson (84 dog years) and data-analyzing, soccer-loving husband Steve (40 years old).

The Fenn family moved to the Denver-area in the summer of 2015 for Steve’s job, and upon discovering the hospitality, warmth, and outstanding children’s ministry of Wellshire, joined immediately. Julia has been serving on the Children and Families ministry team, the Green Committee, teaching periodic Sunday school classes (Adult and Youth), writing family Advent devotionals, and teaching Bible at VBS. She is excited to serve in a more official capacity as Parish Associate.

When the Fenns moved to Colorado, Julia was happy to take some time off from professional ministry to be mom to her bright, energetic, and generally uncontainable boys (apologies to anyone who has been crawled under in worship – Stuart, in particular, enjoys hanging out under the pews and chairs). Prior to Seminary and motherhood, Julia spent her time trying to accumulate a truly conversation-worthy resume. She has taught English in China with the PC(USA) and Amity Foundation, worked at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company in Times Square, served many a latte and coffee with Starbucks, and was a lift operator at Arapahoe Basin. Through all of these experiences, Julia has been blessed by parents who understand wanderlust and encourage boldness, gracious and supportive church communities, and a faith that has been nourished by both families.
