Praying in Color Weekend at Wellshire

The Praying in Color Weekend is a wonderful way to begin the season of Lent.  As we emphasize prayer during Lent, plan to spend part of your weekend with Sybil MacBeth, author of Praying in Color.  Workshops will be offered on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22.  Praying in Color is for all ages and can be done anywhere, anytime.[clear]

The Longest Night Offers Healing

The Longest Night service 2014

The Longest Night service 2014A candlelight service of healing and hope

For many, the Christmas season presents difficult feelings where there is grief, loss, health struggles, unemployment, and other life challenges.  You are invited to come and worship  on one of the longest nights of the calendar year.  This service of scripture and carols, under the light of candles, makes space for our brokenness, and calls us to hope in the midst of darkness. After this service of healing and wholeness, please join us for soup in the Fellowship Hall.[clear]
