Help Fill Christmas Food Boxes

Hunger Task Force Christmas Food Boxes

Hunger Task Force Christmas Food BoxesHunger Task Force Christmas Food Boxes

Every year, the Wellshire Church community provides hunger relief to hundreds of families in the Denver metro area. There are lots of ways to get involved in the 2015 Hunger Task Force Christmas Food Boxes:[clear]

  • nominate a person or family struggling with food insecurity as a recipient of a Hunger Task Force Christmas Food Box
  • Donate peanut butter and jelly for the Christmas Food Boxes to the table in the Narthex and the Adult Ed Suite through December 6
  • Help pack boxes:  Saturday, December 12 @ 1:00 pm
  • Help Deliver Boxes: Sunday, December 13 @ 8:30 am

What makes these boxes possible?

Wellshire’s Hunger Task Force uses donations given by the congregation throughout the year via the Brighter Days Food Fund envelopes in the pewbacks; dollars add up and work hard to spread the joy of Christmas where it is most needed. This means lots of cupboards to fill—but we’ve done it before and we can do it again with your help.

Download the Christmas Food Boxes flyer here.

Thanks for your help in continuing this Wellshire tradition of Christmas food delivery to help hungry people in our community!
