Young Adults at Wellshire Church

    The Christian young adult ministry at Wellshire Presbyterian Church gives young adults in their 20s and 30s a way to explore their faith, make new friends, and serve others.

    Who are we?
    Groups of young adults that are long-time Denver residents as well as those who are new to the area and are trying to find a community and group with which to connect. We’re young adults at Wellshire Presbyterian Church. We are post-college but not yet midlife crisis. We’re single, we’re married. We’re young adults in transition; we’re in the workforce and everything in between.  Whether you grew up in church or are new to it and exploring faith, you are welcome here. 

    What do we do?
    Many things: BBQs, Games Nights, Kickball, Christmas Parties, Galentine’s Day, Bible Studies, Sunday Brunch, you name it!

    Our young adult groups tend to appeal to young professionals who have busy schedules. They want to get involved, but need flexible programs to meet up with other Christian young adults.

    Young Adult Programs for Singles, Married Couples, and Young Families

    Some of the opportunities to connect with other Young Adults within Wellshire Church:
    • The CORE fellowship and service group includes singles, married adults, and young families with infants and toddlers. These young adults tend to be in their thirties and forties. The group enjoys spending time throughout the year in fellowship and study on a monthly basis at church and around Denver.  Their annual Friendsgiving is always a night of laughter and great food.
    • The Families with Young Children fellowship and service group is for families with children age three and under. This group will provide families an opportunity to connect in fellowship and to learn from each other and provide time for children to know their church family better. Enrollment opens each fall.     Our Presbyterian young adult ministry is friendly and welcoming, particularly for new visitors. If you’re in your 20s and 30s and want to get connected, come! If you are a young family and want to get connected, come! Visitors and friends of visitors are always welcome.
